Raspberry and blueberry smoothie

Ideally use fresh raspberries and blueberries to make this smoothie. You can also make this smoothie with cranberry or orange juice, soya milk or natural yoghurt.

What you will need:

  • 30 g raspberries, fresh or frozen
  • 30 g blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 125 ml pomegranate juice 
  • 2 mint leaves (optional)

Method:

1. Prepare the fruit

  • If using fresh berries, wash the fruit
  • Defrost according to the packet instructions if using frozen berries

2. Blend ingredients

  • Place all the ingredients in a blender or use a hand blender
  • Blend until smooth, adding more juice to achieve the preferred consistency

3. How to serve

  • Serve in a glass with a couple of mint leaves on top
